INSTRUCTIONS
The process of poster design:
- Design sketches.
- Graphic design.
This is to add the first character to the drawing.
The task of doing that.
Use multiple languages in Photoshop and Illustrator to draw and create graphics.
Transparency allows you to change the color, making it smooth without causing problems.
- The final design outcome.
- Typeface design.
I used black text at first.
But I think white might be a better fit.
FINAL TASK 3 ARTWORK :
<SUN JIAYUE _"joker poster "_Final Task 3>
200 words Rationale:
For the final piece, my goal was to maintain beauty and strong contrast without upsetting the balance. I added some comic book characters to create an interesting look with a combination of red and green. The extensive use of light reflects the relationship between light and shadow and the visual world. With this commercial poster, we are trying to show the great darkness and oppression in the society. The blacks were initially uncomfortable, so the comic’s introduction reinforced the message they wanted to convey.
In terms of the poster, “Joker” responds to the poster and the film’s theme, as well as the character’s portrayal and dark commentary. He was a good guy at first, but ended up being an unexpected cartoon. The phrase “Everything is in a stage” plays at the beginning of “Joker” and it’s music.
Final reflection
- What have I learnt in this module?
- What did I enjoy the most? What did I not enjoy the most?
- What have I learnt about myself through this module?
- What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?
What has changed: I have learned a lot of new things about design principles and through the analysis of various projects I have become familiar with many new design techniques. Since I love this course so much, I have decided to learn more about it. Through these courses, I have developed a deep appreciation for knowledge related to design and spend my spare time learning more about it. The short semester and busy schedule put a lot of pressure on me, but I kept my mind focused and completed my coursework.
Things that haven’t changed: My own study habits regarding design have remained the same. There are still some gaps in concept and production. When it comes to design ideas, I have few ideas and my ideas are not very diverse.
- What are my aspirations?
