Project 2

This is the requirement for our Project 2. We are carrying out our work according to this requirement.

Design Steps:
Cover Page (Title + Your Name)

My cover design is centered around the theme: “True healing is not about forgetting the pain, but about learning to embrace it.”
The visuals focus on “fragmented memories” and “school bullying.” The overall background is deep black, creating a heavy and oppressive atmosphere. At the center of the composition are shattered fragments, symbolizing broken memories and emotional scars. Inside these fragments sits the small girl, representing her being trapped within her pain and the difficult process of healing.

The title uses large white typography for strong visual impact, with added cracked textures to echo the theme of “embracing brokenness.” Together, these elements enhance the emotional expression and narrative depth of the cover.

Character Descriptions:

I have two roles: one is a psychologist in real life and a memory repairman in the dream world. The other is a little girl, a girl with psychological trauma. The doctor helps her repair her memories.

Evelyn (Psychotherapist/Memory Stitcher)
External traits:
  • Evelyn is a calm and gentle young woman around twenty-five, wearing round glasses.
  • In the memory world, her outfit transforms into a long robe with golden threads and needles.
Personality:
Core Traits: gentle, patient, meticulous,

CiCi(Child ,student, no job)
External Challenges (Plot Obstacles):
  • Her severe trauma prevents her from expressing emotions or trusting others in reality.
  • Painful scenes in her memories reappear, leaving her lonely and fearful.
  • Scattered and disordered memory fragments prevent her from actively piecing her memories together.

Internal Challenges (Psychological Obstacles):

  • Deep mistrust toward her parents or the world.

  • Denial or self-blame over her trauma, which blocks her from accepting help.

  • Difficulty controlling emotions: fear and shame make her prone to avoidance or withdrawal.

Real world:
The soft light, however, carried a shadow, casting its glow on the quiet psychology clinic. The clock on the wall ticked away, and the plants bowed their heads. The girl, head bowed, clutched a broken doll; the doctor gazed at her, the air thick with unhealed emotions.

Dream World:
In a weightless dream, memories transform into floating shards of glass and streaks of light. Within each shard flashes a glimpse of the girl's past smiles, raindrops, tear stains, and moments of holding hands. They float in this space, their colors changing according to the meaning they convey golden warmth, blue melancholy, white tranquility, like the process of the soul's self-healing.

This is my PowerPoint presentation. In it, I explain my design and have recorded a video.
