Project 3
MIB:
LECTURE
The entire proposal framework consists of seven core parts: First, the video's
goal needs to be clearly defined—what feelings or experiences are expected
from the audience? Second, the video's theme must be established—the core
concept or message that the immersive experience aims to convey. Next, the
rationale for the location selection and how it enhances immersion needs to be
explained, along with a description of how the character design evokes
emotional resonance in the audience. At the story level, a written outline of
the story is required, followed by a breakdown of the story into multiple plot
segments. Careful consideration must be given to the number of shots during
this process, as too many shots can diminish immersion. Finally, the proposal
must include a storyboard and a floor plan. The storyboard should visually
represent a 360-degree panoramic space using an isometric cylindrical
projection format and highlight points of interest. The floor plan should
clearly show camera positions, actor movements, and scene layout from a
top-down perspective. This guide emphasizes that the key to successful
360-degree video storytelling lies in placing the audience at the center of
the story through careful spatial and camera design, creating a strong sense
of immersion.
Project 3
This is the content link for Project 3 given by the professor. We need to
write our own story content based on this.
We watched the video multiple times and conducted a systematic analysis
throughout the repeated viewings. By examining its visual elements, narrative
structure, and emotional expression, we were able to engage in deeper
reflection. Based on this process, we summarized our understanding of the
video and our thoughts after watching it.
This is what we summarized after watching the video together:
