In the third week, our teacher divided us into groups of 4 to search for materials for the videos we were going to dub. We needed to divide the materials into several parts for research.

Our team divided the work, searching for possible sounds in the audio, and then put them in the WhatsApp group we set up.

Week 5:

Because there were no classes in the fourth week due to the public holiday, the teacher gave me some advice when he checked in with us in the fifth week. Because I hadn't finished it yet, the teacher said that the front part was still okay and I needed to complete the final production.

REFLECTION

experience：

This is my first time to engage in video production. It is a bit difficult but I find it very interesting. During the production, the whole work is very troublesome because it is necessary to analyze the scene, and then select the scene sound according to the analysis, and then put it into the software for production. During the production process, many situations occurred, and I needed to re-edit it, which took me a long time, but I was still very happy when I finally saw the finished product.

Discovery and observation：

In this short video of just a few dozen seconds, dozens of sound effects are used, and then they need to be adjusted one by one. This reminds me of those very shocking movie works, which are long and have rich sound effects, and must require more energy and technology. It also made me realize that sound effects are very important in good works, which can express the atmosphere of the scene at that time and the psychology of the characters.
