WEEK 2: Introduction to composition
1. Introduction to basic composition.

2.rule of thirds
The Rule of Thirds is the process of dividing an image into thirds,using two horizontal and two vertical lines. This imaginary grid yields nine parts with four intersectio points.
- The Rule of Thirds is a way to:
- Use composition techniques thatare in line with what's naturallypleasing to the eye.
- Creatively use negative space.
- Create conversation between thesubject and background.
3.Golden Ratio.
The Golden Ratio is a mathematical ratio. lt is commonly found in nature,and when used in a design, it fosters organic and natural-looking compositions that are aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
The Golden Ratio is a useful guide linefor determining dimensions of theay out. One very simple way to apply the Golden Ratio is to set your dimensions to 1:1.618.
2.EXERCISES
This week's task is to come up with three collage composition design ideas using the cut materials and attach photos.
