1.LECTURE
Week 6 : Typo_6_Screen & Print
Typography / Different Medium
It introduces the different media of typography, which can be affected by a
variety of different influences, such as operating system, font, screen, etc.
Print Type Vs Screen Type
Type for Print
Primarily, type was designed intended for reading from print long before we
read from screen. lt's the designer's job to ensure that the text is smooth,
flowing, and pleasant to read.
Type for Screen
Typefaces intended for use on the web are optimized and often modified to
enhance readability and performance onscreen in a variety of digital
environments. This can include a taller x-height (or reduced ascenders and
descenders), wider letterforms. more open counters. heavier thin strokes
and serifs, reduced stroke contrast, as well as modified curves and angles
for some designs.
Hyperactive Link/ hyperlink
A hyperlink is a word, phrase, or image that you can click on to jump to
anew document or a new section within the current document. Hyperlinks
are found in nearly all Web pages, allowing users to click their way
from page to another. Text hyperlinks are normally blue and underlined
by default. When you move the cursor over a hyperlink, whether it is
text or an image, the arrow should change to a small hand pointing at
the link.
Font Size for screen
16-pixel text on a screen is about the same size as text printed in a book
or magazine; this is accounting for reading distance. Because we read books
pretty close-often only a few inches away-they are typically set at about 10
points. lf you were to read them at arm's length, you'd want at least 12
points, which is about the same size as 16 pixels on most screens.
Pixel Differential Between Devices
The screens used by our PCs, tablets, phones and TVs are not only
different sizes, but the text you see on-screen differs in proportion
too.because they have different sized pixels. 100 pixels on a laptop is
very different from 100 pixels on a big 60" HDTV.
Even within a single device class there will be a lot of variation.

3.TASK 2:
By watching the videos provided and searching for other typesetting works on
the web page, she provided me with corresponding ideas, and madam also
provided us with corresponding guidance through class learning.

Process Steps:
First of all, I used different AI to complete the title design. I used text
input, pen tool, etc., to complete the production.

4.FEEDBACK
Week 6:
Specific Feedback :This week, the lady asked us to make printed texts and give
advice and guidance.
General Feedback: The lady instructs us to pay attention to the golden
ratio and points out errors and how to modify them further.
Week 7:
Specific Feedback :Pointed out the problems of my submitted works, the
non-standard font use, and the need for further modification of the layout
screen.
General Feedback: After one week of study and production, I completed
the corresponding tasks and submitted the homework in class. The woman gave
corresponding comments and reference opinions, and provided useful
correction suggestions, which made the work more perfect.
5.FURTHER READING
Interdisciplinary vision of touch, sound, smell, space and memory.
The theme of this part is
Multi-sensory engagement using real living beings to create a real
natural environment.
You know, when we think of the sense of touch, we always think of hand
movements. But touch is associated with the largest organ of perception,
encompassing the entire body. The body extends historical
interpretations to encompass multimodal experiences to provide similar
connections to the past.
Opinion:
The pro-life theory holds that all humans have a "desire to be close
to other life forms", that is, close to nature is everyone's nature.
That is, human beings need nature, not only material needs, but also
emotional, spiritual and cognitive needs. Contact with nature can have
many positive effects on humans, increasing happiness and social
connection.
The benefits:
Multi-sensory free exploration and outdoor play, such as touch, allow
children to push their boundaries, take risks and activate their
potential.
